WoodWard Awesomeness (In Tahoe)

Hi it's me, EZRA!! ©®™

Luka and I are currently in Tahoe. Yesteraday we went to this place called WoodWard. It is right next to Boreal which we have talked about before. WoodWard is a place where there are many trampolines and a skatepark, and this big ramp where you land in a foam pit. You go down it with skies with wheels, a bike skateboard, rollerskates, or a snowboard with wheels. Right next to the trampolines are walls that you can jump on to and jump off or you can climb up and jump off. (And climb down if you're a wimp). They have mats that you can move around and practice parkour. If you are interested in going you can find their website here. We went to the bunker if you are wondering. During the summer though they open the outside skatepark.

Hi it's me, LUKA©®™. Ezra told you what there is there, so I'm going to tell you what we did. when we first got in someone told us the rules and then Ezra and I went off to bounce. The first trampoline we went on had a camera that recorded the person bouncing, and then showed them when the other person went on. We did that for some time then went to the one with the wall you could jump off. We did some of that, and other things. Eventually Ezra got bored and went up with the adults (Suzanne and my mom). I decided to do what some people were doing. They were falling off the wall and landing on their back. I learned how to do it with some mats. And soon did it with no mats. When we left we ran to the car since it was pouring, and my mom walked slowly up to our car (an Acura RDX) and thought that the doors woud unlock if she opened the trunk. I kept yelling at her to press the unlock button on the key. When we were finally in the car I explained slowly to her that there was a handy button on the key (It's not really a key since the car is keyless ignition) that could be used to unlock the car from distances conveniently without getting drenched.

Skiing (again)

Hi It's Luka here! Recently Ezra and I went to Tahoe Donner to go skiing. Tahoe Donner Skiing is incredibly fun but there are hardly any lifts. Snowbird (the lift that takes you up to green) was only ridden by me when I went on it with Ezra while we were having our lesson. Eagle Rock which has four blues, two blacks, and two greens. when I whent on the first green, mile run it felt like a mile... of cross country when I finally started going downhill it was a not that steep slope and ended in cross country. the next run me, my dad, and katie did was a steep at the beginning and mellower at the end my dad had to stay behind with katie to help her when she fell over the next run was with Ezra on dart. The first run I made huge turns that were about ten feet long as the runs continued they got smaller and smaller (sometimes I had to make big ones) the second or third time this kid from a group lesson skied over my skies and I took a spill. I saw the instructor talking to him sternly as I got up she yelled out an apology. On another run Ezra had a slight spill I helped him up. I said he owed me one when we went to the lodge to get food and hot cocoa. we had to sit outside since it was so crowded inside there was a gas fire going on close to us but i was already hot so I didn’t want to turn into a melted deformed not very happy Luka. The corn dog I got was good the fries were ok and the hot chocolate was great but when Katie got her hot chocolate she said it tasted like water. Luckily mine had come from a separate machine so mine tasted just fine.I’m going to Let Ezra tell you about the tree incident

We were on a regular run doing just fine. We come up the lift and this guy had crashed into some trees and he wasn’t wearing a helmet, all of the ski patrol people came to help him as we came up the lift they were loading him onto a stretcher. we got off the lift and came down, we were going kinda fast so we couldn't really see what was happening while we were skiing. We heard this really loud noise, we looked around and saw a helicopter landing in the front of the lodge as a huge crowd gathered. We were looking at them load him into the helicopter. They had to transport him in a helicopter because the hospital was all the way in Reno. The next day we were on the lift with a ski patrol guy and he said the guy was released that night, and it was a head accident. The day before Luka’s dad had thought it was a spine injury (I don’t know why). I’m pretty sure everything is just fine now.

Hi It’s Ezra here! I did not go on mile run from Luka’s advice, I wasn't in the mood for cross country skiing. Plus I was at a downhill ski resort. I like Tahoe Donner I prefer Boreal because they have more runs, but they would be too crowded over New Years weekend. I liked this run called dart. It was there funnest run to me. I can’t stand greens, to me they feel like cross country. I like the blues. Bowl is a little bumpy, and that is why I prefer Dart. I love skiing!!!! I wait all year to go. It is my favorite time of year! Click here to see Tahoe Donner's website.
